After putting off our trip to fish the pristine waters of Hervey Bay - Fraser Island due to the fact of bad weather and a serious of unfortunate events to do with life and the boat breaking down we finally just bit the bullet and headed up. ↓↓More Info↓↓
Fishing a new area can be hard, a lot the marks we had for reefs had nothing on them. So We fished the handful that did resulting in a nice sized Golden Trevally for me, a number of Tea leaf Trevallies and a bunch of beautiful small reef fish.
The spotted mackerel and the tuna were in full force busting up on the surface all over the joint but once I've caught a few the novelty wears off.
All in all we had a beautiful trip sleeping on the boat for 3 nights.
